Rebecca in the spotlight

Rebecca is Fenland's youngest runner.
This last year, she completed the First Diploma in Sport at the College of West Anglia (COWA) and was made Sports Woman of the Year on the basis of her sporting achievements. The photo in the gallery was taken at the college's awards evening.
Next year, she is going to complete a further one year course which will make her a Level 3 Personal Trainer. Apart from running for Fenland, she is also taking karate classes and hopes to become a black belt next year (she is currently a brown) and so may be able to teach it. Although she is a little young to take part in a marathon, this is undoubtedly her ambition. She has completed half marathons (eg Norwich 2006) as well as a fifteen mile race at Folksworth. In 2007, she is targeting the Stamford 30K.

Photographs will be posted in the gallery when available.
