Bespak GEAR King's Lynn 10K - 1st May 2011
With the second largest Club entry, 35 Fenland Running Club members completed the Bespak Great East Anglian Run 10K race through the streets of King’s Lynn on Sunday under a hot sun amongst 1,478 finishers. First home for Fenland was Jack Trow who claimed 2nd place in the Junior Men category and he also lifted the trophy and cash prize for first local runner. When it came to the team results for the first 4 Club runners home (based on cumulative time), it was a battle between Fenland and Ryston Runners AC. Fenland claimed first place in the Men’s team trophy and the Ladies claimed the second place trophy, with Ryston Runners AC, who fielded the largest Club entry of 40 runners, second in the Men’s team results but their Ladies
claimed pole position.
