Two Clubs as One for Charity Run 

Fenland Running Club and March Athletic Club joined forces on Sunday for another of the now famous ‘Jane Greenwood Charity Fun Runs’.  In superb spring sunshine, a total of 45 runners from the two clubs came together to complete either one or two 3.5 mile laps, starting and finishing in the superb setting of Wisbech Town Cricket and Hockey Club. Another 15 marshals and other helpers provided refreshments as part of the entry fee which included burgers and hot-dogs from a BBQ, cakes, coffee and tea.  The event and raffle raised a profit of £470 which this year will go to support Kidney Research UK as the chosen charity.
