New Year's Eve 10K - 31st December 2010
The final race of 2010 saw 19 Fenland Running Club members competing in the ever popular New Year’s Eve 10K Road Race hosted by Ely Runners at Little Downham. Good conditions on the day saw 506 runners complete the course. First man home for Fenland was Justin Kinsey in 23rd place with a PB time of 37.31 and first lady home was Rebecca Cousins who was pleased with a time of 41.30 having just recovered from the dreaded flu virus. Other PBs were achieved by Dan Wate (42.41) and Simon Holmes (59.14) who knocked an impressive six minutes off his previous time at the same race last year.
